Code of Conduct
The Webster Elementary School Code of Conduct is designed to support the school as being a safe, caring, and orderly environment for learning and working. This includes: behavior both on school premises and during activities that are off school premises; those that are organized and/or sponsored by the school; and behavior beyond these times (including on-line behavior) when it affects the safe, caring, or orderly environment of the school and/or student learning.
We at Webster School will treat seriously and promote the values expressed in the BC Human Rights Code, respecting the rights of all individuals in accordance with the law – prohibiting discrimination based on race, colour, ancestry, place of origin, religion, marital status, family status, physical or mental disability, sex or sexual orientation. Bullying and harassment will not be tolerated and will be approached in a proactive way in the classroom, so that students will learn acceptable and caring ways of behaving.
At Webster School, we believe in putting our code of conduct into action. We continuously teach (using a school created, child-friendly rubric), reteach, assess, and expect our staff and students to respect themselves, respect others, respect property, and respect learning. RESPECT AND PRIDE IN ALL WE DO! #LionPride
